Platypus

The pest control industry suffers from two main problems: 1. It takes a lot of time and money to develop a single product (12 years + $300m). 2. Most pesticide practices are not sustainable and cause pollution to the environment and damage to human health.

The PlatyPeople (AKA our team) has developed the PlatyForm, a unique biobased and biodegradable material designed for pest control practices inspired by our EEE philosophy, Economical, Efficient, and Ecological.

With an inherent slow-release mechanism, the PlatyForm enables prolonged use of safe materials such as pheromones and essential oils in pest control solutions. Pest control manufacturers will thus offer cost-effective and safer products with higher value. At the same time, the same manufacturers will reduce time to market and R&D costs by up to 40%. This is a game-changer.

There are endless solutions for many verticals in the market for which the PlatyForm can be used. We focus on the agriculture, home & garden, and food supply chain industries.

We welcome any reach out for feedback or collaboration.
